Stories of the Fifth Age, Ep. 25: “Deepening your World: Details and Tone”

Contained within every session of a game, constant details and elements of a real world are addressed at the table. However, it seems many times we forget to color in those worlds we play in with things we take for granted, such as animals, clothing styles, and other aspects that help to make communities, nations and individuals feel much more distinct and unique.

How these details can make what is at first blush just the sketch of a town become instead a fleshed out, intricate painting with layers and subtext is tackled by Adam and Jared in this episode.
